PAMF Women’s Cancer Survivorship Program – An Immensely Important Cause
"There is tremendous synergy between STYLE 2014 and our cancer survivorship programs. Art and fashion provide uplifting support for women with cancer who often struggle with their return to everyday life. We want to get women back to what they love to do and to help them feel comfortable, empowered and beautiful."
- Karen Harrington, physician director, PAMF Cancer Navigation and Survivorship
The goal of the Palo Alto Medical Foundation Women’s Cancer Survivorship Program is to offer survivorship services for people coping with cancer. Fundamentally, survivorship starts as soon as a patient is diagnosed and successful treatment should be defined as not only cancer-free, but also cancer-free and able to return to a healthy, pain-free lifestyle. By attending and making purchases at STYLE 2014 you will have a direct impact on this important cancer survivorship program.
